Unfortunately no one has developed an all-purpose modelling language. The most popular ones are UML, BPMN and ArchiMate. I have seen that people are trying to use ArchiMate for everything even though it has a definite purpose. Each modelling language has its own usage where it suits best. Choose the right modelling language for each use.
What if you need modelling language for a broad spectrum of usage? Then it is vital that you choose a modelling tool that supports all modelling languages. In this webinar Tarja tells the usages of each modelling language and how to cope if you need all of them.

Speaker: Tarja Raussi ; Senior consultant, trainer, coach
Tarja Raussi has been using modelling languages for decades. She used UML already in 1990’s. When BPMN was published she started to use it. The same happened when ArchiMate came along. Tarja is certified in both UML and ArchiMate. Because Tarja has been using modelling languages in large projects and taught how to use them she has had to think how to cope with the whole palette. Currently Tarja works as a consultant in Coala and uses all the modelling languages in her work.
